Thank You for an Extraordinary Season — Early Access to David Benoit Now Available
June 2026

Dear Friends,

As we conclude another extraordinary season at Soka Performing Arts Center, I find myself reflecting with deep gratitude on the remarkable artistic journey we have shared together.

This season brought unforgettable performances from some of the world’s most celebrated artists and ensembles. We welcomed legendary pianists, acclaimed jazz masters, inspiring orchestras, beloved singer-songwriters, world-class chamber ensembles, opera, folk traditions, and emerging young artists. Together, we experienced moments of beauty, joy, reflection, and inspiration that remind us why the performing arts are so essential to our lives.

From the breathtaking artistry of Daniil Trifonov opening our season, to the extraordinary performances of Joshua Bell and Academy of St Martin in the Fields, Angela Hewitt, Marc-André Hamelin, Keb’ Mo’, Charles Lloyd, Ranky Tanky, Celtic Christmas, Pacific Symphony Chamber Orchestra, and so many others, our stage was alive with artistic excellence. More importantly, our hall was filled with something even more meaningful—your presence, enthusiasm, and support.

Every standing ovation, every shared moment of wonder, and every return visit reinforces our mission to engage, educate, and elevate the human spirit through the performing arts. Whether you attended a single performance or joined us throughout the season, you helped create the vibrant community that makes Soka Performing Arts Center such a special place.

As we look ahead, we are excited to begin our 2026–2027 season with a very special event: David Benoit’s Resonance and Renewal, featuring the world premiere of a new cello concerto performed by acclaimed cellist Cécilia Tsan. This promises to be a memorable evening and a fitting way to launch another season of exceptional artistry.

Early Access tickets for this season-opening performance are now available. We invite our loyal patrons to secure seats before tickets are released to the general public.

On behalf of our entire staff, artists, volunteers, and university community, thank you for being part of the Soka family. Your support makes everything we do possible, and we are honored to share these artistic experiences with you.

We wish you a wonderful summer and look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Join us as we begin our 16th season of artistic excellence at Soka Performing Arts Center.

With gratitude,

Renee Bodie
